Phewwwwww and Shewwwwwwwww! Our first showroom sale was an overwhelming success. Truly. We had such a great time meeting so many of you who came from all over to take a look inside our little showroom in Chestertown, Maryland.
By the time it wrapped up, we had sold just about half of our showroom inventory, which honestly exceeded anything I expected for a first-time sale. It was a busy few days, but also incredibly fun—lots of conversations about homes, design ideas, and helping people find pieces they were excited to bring home.
One thing the sale reinforced for us is that events like this might be a great way to keep the showroom active and welcoming while we continue to navigate our growth. What we’ve learned pretty quickly is that Chestertown isn’t really an “appointment town”—and I completely understand that. For some people, an appointment can feel like pressure (which, if you know us, is absolutely not our jam).
While we continue the search for the right person to help manage the showroom during the day while our team is out on design projects and site visits, periodic sales may be a nice bridge—a way to open the doors, welcome people in, and keep the showroom feeling lively and fresh. And hey! I am a proud Momma- I love showing off my little pearl to everyone!

The good news is that anything that didn’t sell during the sale is still available and still on sale! Now that we are freshly back from market, I am very motivated to clear out the remaining pieces to make way for new seating options! I love this firepit—it’s just too large for our 1,500 SF showroom. I’ve heard time and again that firepits are not the place to go cheap, and this one absolutely fits the bill. For outdoor- I only want to work with high end companies b/c I don’t want our clients and customers to have issues and this company has made all of CTI’s clients very happy!

Ventura Queen Bed

I purchased this bed after the sale and fell in love with the finish, but it’s not the right fit for the showroom’s 2.0 direction. Because of that, I’m offering it at cost—a great opportunity for someone to take home a really beautiful piece.
